How is a blood drive held on a school campus?
Prior to the blood drive, we offer a short presentation and show a video to juniors and seniors. We then provide your school’s blood drive committee with posters, flyers, mailbox stuffers, table tents, sign-up sheets and hall passes.
The day of the drive, we come fully staffed and work closely with faculty to make sure students are well nourished after their blood donations and promptly return to class. Why is this program important to students?
Becoming a blood donor at an early age helps establish an on-going commitment to save lives! Blood collected at your drive will be used to supply 22 Virginia hospitals and numerous Richmond-area dialysis centers.
