Donate Blood. Feed the Hungry. Support Life.
For more than 40 years donors like you have shown your loyalty, providing the needed blood supply for our community. You are the Giving Type!
Sunday, Nov. 22 through Saturday, Nov. 28, Virginia Blood Services donors helped support the hungry. Virginia Blood Services donated $1, on behalf of every participating donor, to local area food banks to help feed the hungry this season.
As a result, Virginia Blood Services donated $1,605 between three area food banks. Because of this donation, our donors helped support the hungry by providing nearly 8,000 meals this holiday season. Additionally, VBS brought in about 900 lbs of canned foods.
THANK YOU FOR HELPING SUPPORT LIVES THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!
